Director and Barrister at Libra Law Solicitors. Peter began his career in criminal justice as a police officer in 1986, serving until 2001 and leaving with the rank of Sergeant. His extensive experience in road traffic enforcement and criminal investigations provides a valuable practical perspective in motoring and criminal defence, together with a detailed understanding of police procedure, investigation and evidential process.

Peter has longstanding expertise in advanced driving and road safety. A qualified motorcycle instructor he became a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists at the age of 18, reflecting a lifelong interest in motoring standards and vehicle operation.

Peter was called to the Bar in 2005 and is a member of Lincoln’s Inn. Since then, he has practised in criminal and motoring defence as both a Solicitor and Barrister, representing clients daily in Magistrates’ Courts and Crown Courts across the country.

Peter focuses on private client representation, providing a personalised service with direct access to their advocate throughout proceedings. He approaches every case with detailed preparation, strategic focus and a clear understanding of the significance each matter holds for the individuals involved.
